The blanket is extremely soft and warm & can be used for more then just milestone photos. The material is extremely soft to the touch, which is really important for using it with baby. I, of course, haven't used it yet because my baby isn't a month old but that's just how impressed I am with the purchase....so needless to say, I'm very excited to take a million photos! It came beautifully wrapped in ribbon and the sailor hat came in a sealed bag so you know it's clean (super important to me). This may be the softest blanket we own. No milestone pics yet, my guy is not even a week old but he already loves his tummy time on it so I imagine we'll be using this blanket on a regular basis, not just for milestones. Because the quality is so nice and it's super light weight and warm, it will be great for all seasons. It's also a pretty good size so we'll be using it long after he's 12 months. Just received this one and it's so soft. It also came with a little frame to be able to show the month and the most adorable hat. I can't wait to be able to use it soon. This is a very cute baby milestone blanket.
We ordered it for my lil one who turned 3 months. (We got a matching sailor outfit separately to go with it)The material was too soft. Washed it before using, and the good thing about it is, it didn't shrink or have wrinkles. It can be used as a blanket during winters with its decent size and feels cozy too. Bright background for pics. It is a good baby shower gift. Best buy as the price ws on the cheaper side. The sailor hat that cane along with this set was so adorable. but the blue colour ws washing away.
